SEO – The Science Behind Getting On Page One
Posted by: | CommentsInternet Marketing Service – Analysing The Competition
Many SEO companies would have you believe that there is an art or a magic formula to getting your web page on page one of Google, or any other search engine for that matter. The fact is that is not so. Getting on page one does not happen by luck and anyone can do it. You just have to know what information to look for and how to analyse it. In that sense, yes it does take skill, or more correctly, experience. When you pay an SEO company to put your site at the top of the search engines, you are paying for their knowledge and experience, not for their secret formula or artistic ability.
How else do you think they can guarantee results? If it were just luck, they could not be sure they would be lucky every time. The truth is that SEO is a science. It works by numbers alone. When you have the ability to look at the competition’s numbers, you will know exactly what needs to be done to your website to place your site above theirs. There is no trial and error, no guesswork and no doing unnecessary work. You can focus all of your attention on doing what your competitor is doing, but doing it more.
You see, if you know what it takes to have your website fully optimised so the search engines will get a clear message about what your site is about and what keywords you want to rank for, and you have done all of the on page SEO, all you have to do is focus your attention to the off page SEO and watch your site climb. By knowing what your competition is doing, it makes getting to the top easy.
Now, I didn’t say you would get there overnight. That is not going to happen unless your competition has not done any SEO on their website. It does take time but it is entirely doable. So let’s say the analysis has indicated that the site at the top has 650 inbound links pointing to their website. Theoretically, this would mean that if you had 651 that you would take over their position.
There is, however, the possibility you could take over that number one position with fewer one way links if you can take a look at the quality of their links. Suppose they have only 50 links that are a page rank 3 and above, 100 links that are PR 1 and 2 and 500 links that are a PR 0 or unranked.
By breaking this down, you are able to see that if you focus on the higher PR or high trust, quality back links, you can outrank this site without too terribly much difficulty. Since the search engines put more stock in the authority sites that have links to your site, you no longer have to build as many links so long as you ensure the links you do build are the best possible quality. Instead of needing 651 links, you may only need 151 good quality ones. This makes your job a lot easier.
You can’t do this, without taking a look behind how the competition got to where they are. Without that scientific information, anything you do is simply hit and miss, trial and error and you could be spending large amounts of time and money doing things that will have little or no effect on the outcome.
The Definition and Significance of Deep Linking in Your SEO Strategy
Posted by: | CommentsInternet Marketing Service – SEO Strategies
In essence, when a link or hyperlink is pointing to a page or post of your website other than the homepage itself, it is referred to as a Deep Link.
Most search visitors land on individual pages and posts rather than on the homepage of the website in the typical scenario of search and hit. In order to achieve sustainable search traffic, link building in the direction of these posts are truly significant. So if you want to improve search hits on your specific content, deep linking is the perfect approach.
SEO Advantages of Internal Deep Linking
Creating links within your site to your own content is what we call as internal deep linking. Needless to say, you link deeper into your blog and not out to other pages. It is an excellent SEO practice because visitors will be driven deeper into your website.
Some of the SEO benefits of internal deep linking are the following:
- The usability of your blog will be improved. Typically, navigating website links is not always easy for new readers of a blog. So it would be beneficial not only on your part but for the visitors as well since they will be able to access relevant information which they would not be able to find on their own. They simply have to click on a deep link and the article will be there instantly.
- Every page on your website will be optimized. Sites are graded by search engines per page. Each page’s popularity will be increased and your own blog’s equity will be influenced when you create deep links.
- The importance of each webpage will be increased. Search engines will regard a certain webpage as important if there are more targeted links aimed at that particular page. Both internal and external deep linking can improve the value of every page in your blog.
- The ‘spiderability’ of your page will be enhanced. By tracing the links that lead to your page, spiders of search engines crawl your blog’s pages. If there are deep links targeted towards the different pages on your blog, you will be guaranteed that all the pages are spidered.
Deep linking should be used frequently. You should make sure the keyword you are using is relevant to the page your are linking to. You may not be able to make it to the first page of Google search for every single page of your website, but the use of deep linking will give you an edge over the competition for search engine domination.

Building Free Feeder Blogs to Drive Traffic to Your Small Business Website
Posted by: | CommentsInternet Marketing Service – Traffic Building
When it comes to getting traffic through your website, you have to think about ways to get your name and message out there. If you have a small business with an online presence, then chances are that you have a particular customer base in mind. This might mean a certain demographic or it can mean a particular interest. You would know best who is most likely to be interested in your website.
The question is how to get the message of your business out there. Maybe backlinks are working for you, but if you’re looking to optimize, you might want to consider free blogs. In this article, you will learn about building free feeder blogs to drive traffic to your small business website.
The first question you’re probably asking is how a blog can help feed traffic to your website. The answer to this question is that you can actually keep free blogs that link to your site. This way, you can attract people who are interested in what your business sells, and you can plug your business while you are educating them. The great thing about free feeder blogs is not only that they’re free, but they also optimize the kind of visitor you get to your website, since the people who are interested in reading your blog will be those who are interested in the goods or services you are selling.
When you are writing your blog, you will want to make sure that the information is clear and that it doesn’t seem like a regular advertisement. Remember that most consumers are pretty smart, and they know it when they are being advertised to. This is why you need smart blog writing that speaks to them about their needs. Find out what your customers are looking for. Find out what it takes to grab their attention. Chances are that if you run a successful business then you already have a pretty good idea.
Finally, if you are not a great writer yourself, there is no need to worry. You can actually find a talented copywriter for a reasonable cost. This person can take the needs of your customers and put them into an attractive, clear blog entry. Before you know it, your customers will be flocking to you because they have read about your service and know how it can help them.

Off Page SEO Secrets – How To Find High Quality Blogs To Leave Comments On
Posted by: | CommentsUK Internet Marketing Service – Link Building Strategies
When it comes to search engines, one of the most powerful ways to get your page pushed up the ranks in the SERPs (search engine results page) is through building inbound or one way links to your website from other niche related, high quality websites. Finding those sites can be time consuming but definitely worth the effort. Here are a few tips I use in my link building strategy and one big secret tip.
- Use the FireFox browser because it is the best for marketing. You can add plug-ins or add-ons that will give you important information about other websites. For link building, I use the Quirk and SEO for Firefox add-ons. These allow me to see a blog page rank and valuable statistics of a website when I am looking for the best blogs to leave comments on.
- Do a search for “your keyword +blog” and this will return only sites that have blogs in my search results. I can then quickly look to see which blogs have the highest search engine trust value and focus on leaving comments on those rather than wasting my time on blogs that will have little effect on advancing my site in the search engines.
- I also use a software called Market Samurai. This allows me to quickly find sites that have a higher PR and have dofollow links for their comments.
Now here is a little secret that can pay off in a big way for one way links if you are lucky enough to find it.
If you find a website that is not extremely active with commenters but has a very good PR or search engine trust value; and that site also happens to display their Recent Comments in the side bar, be sure to drop your comment there! Not only will you get the back link from your comment, but because the recent comments is displayed in the sidebar, you will get credit for having a link on every single page of their blog. You can easily build 100-300 back links from one comment on one website if the site has been actively blogging for many years. You might even get a thousand back links from it depending on just how much page content they have built up. Be sure to bookmark this site and monitor it. If your comment drops off the most recent comments list, go back and comment on another post to keep your link in that sidebar. This is a killer way to build back links in a hurry and shoot your site up the SERPs.
Now, it goes without saying that you must leave relevant comments and you must not spam. If you do, you are wasting your time because those valuable inbound links will just get deleted. Mind your manners and add value to that person’s blog and you will be rewarded.
